Job Role: Finishing Technician
Hours: 0800 - 1715 Mon - Thurs
0800 - 1300 Fri
Salary: £13 - £14 based on experience

The Company
Fine Cut Group is a family-owned SME home to 6 distinct brands. Each brand requires its own unique personality and strategy.
These brands are: Fine Cut, Dragonfly Rally, Attach A Tag, P&S Engraving, Orbit Print & Label Giant.
Fine Cut operates under one roof with an eclectic array of state-of-the-art print, laser marking and engraving technology - all serving our core offering of “industrial graphics”.
The Role
As a Finishing Technician you will be the final set of hands on many of our products.
Your core focus will be digital cutting and die cutting equipment, working with adhesives and a range of materials that are applied to printed and engraved products. Precision and care is central to the role as the products we make go into aerospace, medical, defence and other industries where the standard of finish is non-negotiable.
When the finishing department is running ahead of schedule, you will be expected to turn your hand to other tasks whether that is assembly work, supporting print operations, or helping out wherever the floor needs it. We are a practical team and everyone gets stuck in.
You will be based at our Lancing, West Sussex facility.

Your role; including but not limited to:
- Operating analogue diecutting machines
- Operating our digital cutters
- Testing and inspection
- Applying adhesives to finished products
- Support Assembly tasks and other production areas.
- Maintain a clean workspace
Required skills:
- Some prior experience in production, ideally a hands on role.
- Dexterity and precision.
- Reliable and consistent
Desirable:
- Experience operating digital cutting equipment, particularly Zund or similar flatbed cutters
- Familiarity with die cutting machines or other mechanical cutting processes
- Experience working with adhesives, laminates or specialist materials
- Background in print, signage, packaging or a related industry
