Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain robotic systems, including Fanuc robots and vision inspection systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Program and troubleshoot industrial robots and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support manufacturing operations.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to diagnose issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures or process deviations to identify corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop automation solutions using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design tools.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.
- Perform routine inspections of mechanical components, tooling, machining setups, and control systems to prevent downtime.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling, machining, and system integration.
- Proficiency in robot programming, especially with Fanuc or similar robotic platforms.
- Familiarity with vision inspection systems and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards applicable in regulated environments.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other design software for system layout and modifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently.
