What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music Teacher Pool - Elementary 2025-2026 position at FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT?
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Valid Texas Elementary Music Teacher Certificate and/or enrollment in an Alternative Certification Program or equivalent.
PREFERRED:
- All level certification; and
- Ability to implement policy and procedures.
The Music Teacher - Elementary will teach general music education to elementary students up to grade five and provide performance opportunities for all children. The Elementary Music Teacher will direct a fifth grade choir with a minimum one concert per semester as well as coach UIL Music Memory. The Elementary Music Teacher will complete all paperwork as well as instructional duties as assigned to provide the best music education possible for the students of B.I.S.D.
