Part-Time Karaoke Host (Weekends Preferred)
Fine Art Miracles, Inc. is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and reliable Karaoke Host to join our growing team. About the Role
Our Karaoke Hosts lead interactive, uplifting sing-along experiences that promote social connection, engagement, and joy. Through the power of music, you'll encourage residents to sing, reminisce, laugh, and participate in a welcoming and inclusive environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to brighten someone's day, spark meaningful memories, and make a genuine difference in the lives of older adults through the gift of music.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging karaoke sessions for older adults or children with cognitive disabilities
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where participants feel comfortable joining at their own ability level
- Encourage social interaction, participation, and enjoyment
- Travel to various retirement communities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, schools, and camps
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions
- Communicate professionally with facility staff and residents
Requirements
- Experience leading karaoke events
- Experience working with older adults, seniors, or individuals in retirement communities, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing settings
- Experience working with kids with cognitive learning disabilities
- Must provide your own equipment: microphone(s), speaker system, music library, and any necessary equipment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Weekend availability is highly preferred
- CPR certification is a plus but not required
- Clearances for working with children. (can be obtained once hired)
