- Responsible for and has the authority to establish the duties and activities of positions that directly and/or indirectly report to him.
- Responsible to select, develop, motivate, train and evaluate personnel in the manufacturing, production and material handling operations.
- Responsible to support and assist in all corrective action and Customer Concern activities.
- Responsible for Quarantine and Containment activities.
- Responsible for enforcing and maintaining TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Responsible to interact with Customers, Corporate and Plant personnel to resolve safety, quality and through-put concerns.
- Responsible for continuous improvement and cost saving activities utilizing improved manufacturing techniques.
- Responsible to provide support for all manufacturing functions within the plant, at any
Corporate facility or location and tooling or equipment shops. - Responsible to track and improve plant measurables included in the Midway Operating System (MOS).
- Responsible to support Corporate and Plant continuous improvement activities such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, VAVE, Cpk improvements and LTA.
- Responsible for enforcing and maintaining Company policies and guidelines.
- Responsible for confidentiality, open and honest communications.
- Has the authority to stop production operations with respect to safety or quality concerns.
- Treats all Team Members with dignity and respect.
- Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Experience
Required- 5 year(s): Minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing leadership position with automotive stamping exposure. College degree preferred.
