Medical Clerk
We are seeking a dependable and organized Medical Clerk to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting patient care by serving as a primary point of contact for patients and assisting with administrative tasks throughout the office.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering patient phone calls and directing inquiries appropriately
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Sending messages to providers and other office personnel
- Collecting and documenting patient information
- Faxing medical records and scanning documents into the electronic record
- Making copies and performing general clerical tasks
- Data entry and patient outreach activities
- Assisting patients with payments
- Obtaining medical information needed for prescription refills and referrals
The Medical Clerk ensures that every patient and customer is treated with respect, professionalism, and compassion, while helping them receive timely answers to their questions and needs.
