Duties
- Perform oil changes using hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, filters, belts, and tire conditions.
- Assist with tire service, including rotations, replacements, and wheel alignments to optimize vehicle performance.
- Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing vehicle concerns professionally.
- Support additional maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, light repairs, and general vehicle upkeep as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with oil change procedures, tire service, wheel alignment, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Experience working as a service technician or mechanic in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about vehicle needs.
