Provisionally licensed counselor/therapist (PLPC / PLMFT)

We don't expect you to walk in as a finished clinician. We expect you to stay curious, take feedback well, and keep learning. In return, you get board-approved supervision at no cost to you, a team of experienced clinicians beside you, and an administrative team that handles the business side so you can focus on becoming the therapist you want to be.

Requirements

• Current Louisiana PLPC or PLMFT status (or eligibility to obtain it before start date)
• Ability to work in-office in West Monroe, LA
• Willingness to keep an open, varied caseload during your provisional years

Compensation & schedule

• Base salary: $36,000/year for a 30-hour in-office workweek.
• Production goal: 22 completed sessions per week (your schedule may hold more appointments to absorb cancellations and no-shows — admin builds and manages that within your 30 hours).
• Production bonus: starting with your 23rd completed session in a tracking week, you earn an additional $30 per completed session.

The goal is financial stability while your caseload develops, with room to earn more as it grows.

A path beyond provisional licensure

Finding Solace is an HRSA/NHSC-approved site. Provisionally licensed clinicians generally aren't eligible for NHSC loan repayment until they hold an independent, unrestricted license, but once you complete your supervised experience and become fully licensed here, you may be able to apply for federal student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps. (Eligibility and awards are decided by NHSC and HRSA, so we can't guarantee an award, but the door is open, and we're the site that helps you get there.)
