Job Overview
Finding Pearls, Inc. is seeking a Skills Trainer/Case Manager with QMHA qualifications to join our team. The QMHA will provide direct behavioral health services and support to individuals in need, while adhering to best practices in care coordination, risk management, and skill development. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can collaborate effectively with individuals, families, and other providers to help clients achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As a QMHA at Finding Pearls, Inc., you will:
Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in working with a diverse client population, ensuring that communication and services are appropriate and respectful of individual differences.
Assist in the coordination of care by collaborating with other professionals and agencies involved in the client’s treatment plan. This includes helping clients navigate services, monitoring progress, and facilitating necessary referrals.
Build and maintain positive, working relationships with individuals, families, and other service providers to foster teamwork and ensure holistic, client-centered care.
Assist in the collection and documentation of client information, providing relevant data and insights to contribute to the completion of comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
Screen for suicide risk, self-harm, and other safety concerns and escalate to appropriate clinical staff as needed.
Provide clients with skill-building strategies to improve coping mechanisms, emotional regulation, and overall mental health wellness.
Facilitate individual or group sessions focused on developing life skills, stress management, and other critical coping skills.
Assist clients in planning for discharge or transition from services, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support systems in place to maintain progress outside of treatment.
Ensure that all services are documented in accordance with agency policies, funding requirements, and industry standards. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable legal and ethical standards.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
