Emojis, jokes, and pet pictures flow freely in our Slack.Why We Need You:We're looking for a seasoned Staff Data Analyst to lead company data cleanup efforts across Engineering and Research, taking feedback from Product/ESP/IA and integrating that into company cleanup by prioritizing segments and features of companies that are most relevant to our customers and most in need of cleanup until we have the most accurate and comprehensive company data in the industry (including from AI-derived sources).What You'll Do:Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve data quality across the organization, proactively determining the most efficient strategies for data cleanup and optimizationDevelop creative solutions to resolve complex data issues, applying analytical judgment to balance effort, impact, and business valueDirect Research projects to uncover opportunities and drive progress on cleanupPrioritize Engineering efforts and track results over time to meet deadlinesLeverage expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and NoSQL to transform, cleanse, and extract data, delivering accurate and well-structured datasets for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersTranslate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.Maintain high standards for data governance, quality assurance, and documentation.Your Working Experience:8-12 years of escalating levels of responsibility in a role blending data analytics and operations at a management consulting firm or large SaaS companySQL/NoSQL/Python for data extraction @ expert levelSpreadsheet-based workflows @ expert levelData visualizationsAble to structure work at program level, independently managing toward a goalProject management across Research, Engineering, Product Data cleansing/debugging/RCA with messy dataBenefits & Perks:Competitive base performance-based compensationUnlimited PTOGenerous healthcare coverage for you and your familyHome office and productivity setup stipendProfessional development budget and executive coaching accessEquity grants that align your success with oursOur compensation range reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic markets.
