A real estate law firm based in the South Carolina Lowcountry is hiring for a licensed and experienced Real Estate Attorney in Bluffton. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who works well independently and has 2-3 years of high volume transaction experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all residential and commercial real estate transactions in the office, including residential and commercial sales and refinances
- Work with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers and sellers to facilitate real estate transactions
- Draft and/or review loan documents including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements
- Develop, cultivate and grow business relationships for the firm
- Deliver a professional and engaging experience for clients
- Review title information
- Review disbursement ledger and sign checks
- Conduct training for potential clients in relevant areas of real estate law
- Hire and manage supporting staff over time
Qualifications:
- Member of the South Carolina State Bar, in good standing
- Residential real estate experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Involved in the community
- Strong administrative and office management capabilities
- Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history
- Able to manage a support staff
