What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Find Great People?
We are seeking a professional Accountant to join a team in Greenwood, SC. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in general accounting work and will have strong knowledge of GAAP.
Job Description:
- Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including account review and collections
- Serve as backup for Accounts Payable, including invoice entry and processing payments (ACH and bank drafts)
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Complete general ledger reconciliations
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations for multiple retail locations
- Assist with annual audit preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 2 years of general accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent MS Excel Skills
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
- 100% ONSITE
Compensation & Benefits:
- $55,000 - $65,000
