Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installations.
- Conduct field service tasks including troubleshooting and maintenance of existing plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project completion.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for specific plumbing applications.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Provide maintenance person services as necessary during remodeling projects.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material estimates.
- Experience in carpentry or remodeling is advantageous.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is essential.
