Job Description
As the VP of Finance, you will report directly to the CFO and serve as the strategic finance leader for the organization. You'll oversee FP&A, financial systems, data & analytics, and business partnering while leading a high-performing finance organization. Working closely with executive leadership, operations, and corporate development, you'll drive forecasting, reporting, operational performance, and M&A integration. This role offers significant executive exposure and a clear runway toward a future CFO opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to drive operational performance.
- Lead finance's role in acquisitions from diligence through post-close integration.
- Build and develop a high-performing finance team across corporate and field operations.
- Deliver Board-ready reporting and strategic financial insights.
- Drive process improvements and scalable finance capabilities across a rapidly growing organization.
- Travel regularly to operating locations to partner directly with business leaders.
Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
- Experience leading finance within a branch-based and/or multi-site organization, with demonstrated business partnering across multiple operating locations required.
- Strong FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering experience within a large, multi-site organization.
- Experience in private equity-backed, high-growth, or acquisitive businesses preferred.
- Proven M&A experience, including diligence, integration, and systems/process transformation.
- Strong background with ERP, BI, and financial reporting platforms.
- Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and leading organizational change.
- Experience in commercial services, building services, facilities services, industrial services, distribution, construction, or other branch-based, asset-intensive businesses is highly preferred.
Salary : $275,000 - $325,000
