Reporting to the Head of Marketing for the Lending Business Unit, the Content & Channels Marketing lead will be responsible for developing positioning, messaging and thought leadership for our Lending products – covering retail and corporate lending, with a primary focus on retail lending. They will also lead the promotion of the developed content via in-house channels (email, social, web).
In this role, you will work with Sales, Product Management and the wider Marketing organization to translate our lending offering into a value proposition and message – to support brand recognition and ultimately drive demand generation and pipeline growth.
You will need a deep understanding of current trends and challenges faced by financial institutions and community banks as it relates to lending products, as well as an understanding of software and product launch processes.

The Main Deliverables And Responsibilities
As a Content & Channels Marketing Lead you will be responsible for:
- Producing industry thought leadership content including whitepapers and articles
- Creation of content for award entries, client case studies and testimonials, and associated sales collateral
- Supporting the production of product-focused sales materials (e.g. factsheets, demo videos, website content) for Lending products
- Developing assets for organic and paid social media and digital marketing campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn posts and digital adverts)
- Activity with relevant industry associations (including webinars, adverts)
- Supporting the creation of assets for our attendance at conferences / Finastra-hosted events
- Driving regular and effective internal communication on the assets and campaigns.
- 8 years’ experience across banking products in financial services, with good knowledge of the banking landscape, industry and trends
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders of all backgrounds and levels, including the ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
- Significant experience in Sales, Marketing or Product Management in relation to banking products
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers to determine critical product and sales messaging needs
- Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills
