Compensation: Base Commission. On-target earnings up to $200,000 . Unlimited earning potential! OTE Year 1 = $135,000. W2 Earnings: Year 1: $135,000, Year 2: $200,000 , Senior Advisors earn $400k - >$1M based on performance.
Work Hours: Business Hours Monday - Friday, plus availability for leading evening seminars or meeting with clientele.
Job Type: Full-time W-2 position.
Retirement Financial Advisor Requirements:
- Active State Life and Health License or willingness to pass exam within 30 days of employment is necessary.
- Must hold an active Series 65 or 7/66 (or willingness to take and pass the Series 65 test within 60 days of employment).
- Prior experience in wealth or financial planning, advising, or life and annuity sales is preferred, but we are open to exceptional salespeople from other backgrounds who want to enter Financial Planning.
- Strong ability to identify and engage with high-quality prospects (HQP) with investable assets ranging from $500k to $5M and experience in life insurance, mortgage brokerage, or premier banking.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets and earn substantial income (W2 on target earnings Year 1: $135,000, Year 2: $200,000 , Senior Advisors earn $400k - $1M based on performance).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 2 - 4 evenings per week, to accommodate client availability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring efficient collaboration and outstanding results.
- Willingness to continuously learn about financial products and industry trends to provide up-to-date advice to clients.

Retirement Financial Advisor Responsibilities:
- Meet with HQPs, understand their financial needs and retirement goals, and convert them into High-Quality Clients (HQC).
- Lead educational seminars with potential clients (filled through FTA's marketing efforts) to introduce our services, aiming to inform and invite them for personalized advisement meetings.
- Employ your public speaking prowess to educate clients about the most suitable options.
- Serve HQCs by providing personalized financial solutions and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Dedicate 80% of working time to sales activities, delivering classes/seminars, client meetings, and relationship building.
- Ensure less than 20% of working time is spent on administrative tasks such as writing plans or consulting with the team.
- Lead a team initially, including an Account Manager (AM) who manages administrative work and asset transfers and assists with plan preparation. As the FA's book of business expands, collaborate with a Junior Planner (JP) to handle reviews and smaller clients, allowing the FA to focus on more significant opportunities.
- Oversee client issues and guide the team to ensure exceptional client service.
- Teach a college course designed to attract and engage HQPs.
