Our client, a privately held firm supporting the Department of Defense, is looking to add a dynamic Program Manager to their growing team. The Program Manager will report to the CEO leading programs through successful completion with full accountability for cost, quality, and delivery. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for customers, executive leadership, and internal teams while overseeing planning, execution, forecasting, reporting, and overall program performance.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Work Setting: On-site, Full-Time

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000

What you will be doing as the Program Manager

  • Manage all phases of programs from inception through completion
  • Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance across multiple programs
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to schedules
  • Identify program issues and implement solutions related to resources, timing, and contractual scope
  • Communicate program expectations, priorities and goals to leadership and program teams
  • Track program progress and lead internal status meetings
  • Provide direction to teams to mitigate risk and maintain performance objectives
  • Define program scope and objectives in partnership with functional leadership
  • Develop and monitor work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Serve as liaison across Operations, Production, Development, and Executive Leadership
  • Assess workflows, business requirements, financials, communications, and process effectiveness
  • Support business growth through new opportunities and expanded customer product lines
  • Recommend cost-effective solutions to resolve challenges and maximize opportunities
  • Support execution from concept through final implementation, including testing, operational readiness, and logistical support


What you will need to be successful as the Program Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 years of Program Management experience preferred
  • 3 years of Department of Defense Program Management experience, or equivalent, preferred
  • Ability to acquire a U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • PMP or PgMP certification highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of program and product management techniques
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar planning software
  • Experience managing Statements of Work and specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, organization, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership ability in collaboration, decision-making, adaptability, conflict resolution, risk management, and process improvement
  • Prior relevant industry and product knowledge preferred


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work on-site
  • U.S. Citizenship required, No dual citizenship
  • Must pass a 10-panel drug screening
  • Domestic travel up to 20%
