As a vibrant, growing organization, FSSI is looking to expand our team.
We are currently looking for a full-time Billing Coordinator to join our accounting team in Santa Ana, CA. This position is responsible for processing billing and accounts receivable transactions.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare customer billing, ensuring reconciliation of billing reports are complete first.
- Process and send out weekly and monthly customer invoices via email, by mail or by uploading to specific websites.
- Prepare daily cash report.
- Review price sheets for each job to ensure correct billing.
- Setup customers in the accounting system and FSSI’s proprietary solution.
- Maintain all billing files and folders.
- Reconcile FedEx charges and prepare for billing.
- Retrieve, stamp and disseminate mail to Accounting, HR, and payroll teams
SECONDARY DUTIES
- Assists billing supervisor with collection calls and e-mails.
- Prepare deposit using remote deposit and scan incoming checks.
- Update accounting system by applying deposits to customer accounts.
- Other tasks as assigned by Billing Supervisor or Controller.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Three to five years’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with complex billing codes is highly preferred (such as medical/dental billing).
- PC literacy required, with a working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills required.
- Prior experience working in an accounting system is required; NetSuite experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and/or fingers to grasp, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
