The Dealer Representative plays a key role in developing and maintaining productive relationships with auto dealerships. You will be the face of the credit union within the dealership community, supporting their success while ensuring members receive fast, fair, and reliable financing options.
What You Will Do
• Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing auto dealerships
• Promote the credit union’s indirect lending programs and communicate product details clearly
• Provide responsive support to dealer partners and resolve questions quickly
• Help dealers understand program guidelines, documentation needs, and best practices
• Review applications received through indirect channels and ensure all required information is complete
• Serve as a liaison between dealers and internal credit union teams to ensure a smooth funding process
• Identify opportunities for new business growth and recommend strategies to expand the dealer network
• Represent the credit union at industry events, sales meetings, and dealership visits
• Ensure all lending activities support regulatory and compliance expectations
Qualifications
What You Bring
• Strong relationship management skills and a genuine passion for partnership building
• Previous experience in indirect lending, auto finance, or dealership operations is preferred
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with both internal teams and external partners
• A solutions focused mindset and the ability to support fast paced lending environments
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through
• Understanding of consumer lending guidelines and compliance standards
• A positive, professional, and proactive approach to every interaction
