Our client is a rapidly growing boutique wealth management and tax group. We are seeking an experienced Director of Advisory Operations to lead the day-to-day management and operational execution of our wealth management firm. This individual will serve as a key leader and the primary liaison between the President/Lead Advisor and staff, ensuring the team operates efficiently, cohesively, and at a high level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and directly manage staff, ensuring accountability, productivity, and alignment across the team
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive, high-performing work environment
- Act as the primary point of contact between the President and staff, handling day-to-day decision-making and team management
- Implement and maintain operational processes, policies, and procedures consistent with industry best practices
- Ensure smooth execution of workflows across the advisory business, identifying and addressing inefficiencies
- Maintain familiarity with broker-dealer (Cetera) environments and advisory compliance standards
- Oversee and optimize the firm's technology stack, including CRM and AI tools, to improve performance and scalability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- 7-10 years of experience within an investment advisory or financial services firm
- Strong leadership experience with direct responsibility for managing teams and day-to-day staff operations
- Deep understanding of advisory firm operations, policies, and procedures
- Broker-dealer experience preferred
- Securities licenses are a plus
- Technologically proficient, with experience leveraging CRM systems and modern tools
- Experience with Redtail, AdviceWorks, NetDocuments, and MS Office suite is a plus

- Base salary (commensurate with experience) plus bonus based on performance
