THE OPPORTUNITY
This is for a CFP® who wants to be on a Lead Advisor Track:
- Be the primary advisor and relationship owner for clients
- Grow within a firm, not just working in one
- Advisors work towards managing 50-80 deep client relationships.
- Opportunity for future partnership track
You will start with an existing client base—and be expected to grow it, deepen it, and elevate the experience.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
1. Lead Client Relationships
- Serve as the primary financial advisor for your clients
- Develop & deliver comprehensive, ongoing financial planning
- Lead all client meetings (in-person virtual)
- Build trust that naturally leads to unsolicited referrals
2. Drive Growth (This Role Is Not Passive)
- Grow your book through:
- Firm-generated opportunities
- Client referrals
- Centers of Influence (CPAs, attorneys, etc.) referrals
- Convert financial planning engagements into long-term relationships
- Take ownership of your personal growth pipeline
3. Deliver Purposeful Planning
- Design and implement planning across:
- Retirement
- Tax strategy
- Investments
- Estate coordination
- Risk management
- Turning complexity into clear, actionable decisions for clients
- Ensure implementation—not just recommendations
4. Elevate the Client Experience
- Create a consistent, high-quality experience at every touchpoint
- Be proactive, responsive, and detail-oriented
- Collaborate with internal team to deliver seamlessly
5. Contribute to Building the Firm
- Participate in refining processes, workflows, and client experience
- Collaborate with leadership and team on scaling the firm
- Mentorship & professional development opportunities
- Operate as a future leader—not just an individual contributor
HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED
- Conversion of prospects into planning clients
- Conversion of planning clients into wealth management clients
- Client retention and satisfaction
- Referral activity (existing clients COIs)
- Contribution to firm initiatives and team development
