Senior Marketing Coordinator

Description

The Senior Marketing Coordinator (SMC) is responsible for all marketing aspects of Government Benefit Educators (GBE) and will assist in marketing efforts of Financial Integrators, as needed. The SMC will manage all social media for GBE as well as be responsible for the continued development and maintenance of the GBE website.

Key Responsibilities

• GBE website development and maintenance - The SMC is responsible for the continued development and maintenance of the GBE website. This includes content creation, blog posting, graphic design, site updates and any other work related to the website.
• Agent website development assistance - The SMC will assist FI agents who are part of the federal program with their websites, including creation, updates and graphic design.
• GBE social media management - The SMC is responsible for all social media used by GBE and will create and post content, respond to comments or reactions and maintain the security of the site.
• Social media advertising - The SMC is responsible for creating social media advertising that GBE will use to promote workshops, seminars, trainings and other events.
• Presentation creation and maintenance - The SMC will assist in the creation of powerpoint and or Google slides for workshop presentations, agent trainings and related meetings
• GBE agent network meetings - The SMC will have primary responsibility for the planning and implementation of all meetings for agents who are part of the GBE agent network. The SMC may work with other FI resources for sourcing, contract negotiation, agenda planning, invitations and registration.
  
  

Travel requirement: 2-3 times per year

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in graphic design
• 5 years experience in website creation and social media management
• 3 years experience in the financial services industry
• College degree in business, marketing, communications or design
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of various graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express or Snappa
• Experience creating and maintaining website.
• Social media management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
