What You'll Do
As an Agent Services Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our agent network and ensuring they have everything they need to succeed.
Agent Contracting & Licensing
- Manage contracting and appointment processes for internal and independent agents
- Coordinate state licensing and carrier appointment applications, renewals, and updates
- Monitor agent licensing and certification statuses to ensure ongoing compliance
- Assist agents with carrier certifications, AHIP completion, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate records within licensing and contracting systems
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agent questions, requests, and support needs
- Build strong relationships with agents through timely and professional communication
- Follow up on agent inquiries and onboarding opportunities
- Act as a liaison between agents, insurance carriers, and internal departments
- Coordinate the onboarding experience for new agents
- Fulfill agent supply requests and coordinate kit shipments
- Communicate carrier updates, product launches, and training opportunities
- Assist with webinar scheduling, training events, conferences, and agent engagement initiatives
- Maintain training materials, operational procedures, and activity logs

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in licensing, contracting, customer service, insurance operations, or a related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with NIPR, AgentSync, AgencyBloc, carrier portals, or similar platforms preferred
- Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- Customer-focused with a passion for building strong relationships
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork
