What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Union Loan Officer I position at Financial Educators Federal Credit Union?
As a Loan Officer you will be responsible for handling all aspects of a loan transaction from taking the application to disbursing the funds. You will handle everything in between, including (eventually) making the credit decision. Prior financial institution experience is required, and prior lending experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for our system and forms, but a basic understanding of credit and lending is necessary. Our Credit Union offers the following loans: Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Lines of Credit, Boat, RV, and Auto Loans, and basic Mortgages.
At times this branch is slower paced, and you may spend time participating in events and doing table tops with our business development specialist. Other times you may cross train in other roles. We are a staff of 5, and embrace working as a team!
This is a full time position that offers excellent benefits that are 100% company paid. Benefits included Health, Life, Dental, and 401K. Paid vacations and other leave is offered after 6 months. The Credit Union offers 13 days of flexible paid vacation starting out, and another 50 hours of other paid leave! The Credit Union also has a bonus program, which can easily result in $2,000 or more annually for loan production!
