Tax Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles to support the organization’s financial health.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasting to assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Collaborate with management to develop budgets and monitor expenditures against forecasts.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Utilize QuickBooks for efficient financial record keeping and reporting.
• Assist in corporate finance activities, including investment analysis and capital budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for audits.

Skills

• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with budgeting processes and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with corporate finance concepts, including investment strategies and risk assessment.
• Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and statements accurately.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
