A growing public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and closely held businesses. This role offers the opportunity to manage client relationships, review complex tax returns, mentor staff, and provide strategic tax planning in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Review federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
- Provide tax planning and consulting for high-net-worth clients and business owners.
- Research complex tax issues and prepare technical recommendations.
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and respond to tax notices and inquiries.
- Mentor and develop junior staff while reviewing their work for accuracy.
- Stay current on changing tax laws and identify planning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA license required or in progress.
- 5 years of public accounting tax experience.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and pass-through entities.
- Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Experience managing client relationships and supervising staff preferred.
Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
