Position Overview
This position is responsible for preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns, performing associated reporting functions, and conducting tax account analysis and reconciliations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns, including related schedules, workpapers, and reports.
- Review federal and state tax provisions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including related inputs, forecasts, support schedules, workpapers, reports, and journal entries.
- Calculate and review estimated tax payments for tax-paying entities.
- Research and respond to state tax notices and inquiries from taxing authorities.
- Review state apportionment for partnership and corporate entities.
- Review monthly tax accruals for federal, state, and foreign taxes.
- Perform and review tax account analysis and reconciliations.
- Conduct research related to ongoing tax issues and tax law changes, and remain current on ASC 740.
- Support external auditors and consultants.
- Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in corporate income tax provisions and/or compliance.
- Thorough understanding of tax accounting concepts, including ASC 740.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience with Longview, OneSource, SAP, and BPC is a plus.
- Self-motivated, with the initiative to identify and resolve issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and skills.

- Experience with tax provision software.
- Experience with corporate tax preparation software.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
