What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Analyst position at Financial Additions?
Financial Additions is searching for an experienced Accounting Analyst to support the day-to-day accounting functions for a great oil and gas company in north Dallas. This is a hybrid role that will be client-facing and reporting to the controller.
Responsibilities include:
- Process accounts payable, vendor set-up, and research discrepancies
- Prepare and send client invoices, statements, and rate increase notifications
- Maintain project billing rates and associate timesheets
- Reivew and process employee expense reports and timesheets
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and usage summaries
- Enter journal entries and perform GL account reconciliations
- Apply payments and make bank deposits
- Provide general administrative and recordkeeping support
Qualifications include
- 5-6 years in an accounting position performing day-to day accounting duties
- Proficiency using Sage Intacct is a plus; proficiency using Excel and financial reporting tools is required
- Hands-on knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
- Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively and professionally to clients' requests
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business not required, but a plus
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
