What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Specialist position at Finance Professionals Inc.?
What will you do?
- Provide accurate processing support for standardized and manual processes.
- Accurately review, verify and/or record data into systems supporting department processes.
- Understand department procedures and required accountabilities.
- Liaise and provide customer service support on issues requiring research and problem resolution.
- Understand and utilize information from other Operation’s departments, Business Units, external customers or industry participants.
- Address escalated questions independently; seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate.
- Reduce risk by suggesting process changes or modifications as appropriate
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
- 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 2 year of job-related experience
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with high attention to detail and level of accuracy and able to maintain composure under pressure.
- Ability to work with sensitive, proprietary, and non-public information and maintain confidentiality
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work both independently and with team members, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft-based software products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
Nice-to-have Skills/Experience and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
- SIE or Series 99 or 7
- Previous experience in payment processing or wealth management operations.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field
- 1 year business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Demonstrate strong analytical, mathematical, and exception-based processing skills.
Salary : $25 - $30
