Purpose of Role
Responsible for the reception, organization, and distribution of mail among departments within the corporation.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail, including funding applications and related documents, by department/branch/individuals.
- Logs all incoming mail/packages and delivers each to addressee.
- Uses fax and scanning machines to upload funding applications and associated documents into the appropriate digital systems.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of scanned documents.
- Documents conditions submitted with funding applications accurately and comprehensively.
- Organizes and maintains physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of documents.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times.
- Weighs mail to determine the correct postage.
- Acts as backup receptionist, including but not limited to greeting visitors, answering phones, accepting mail and deliveries, and maintaining the reception area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Experience/Skills/Competencies
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mailroom

- High School Diploma
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
