*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Intensive Family Preservation to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing intensive therapeutic and skill-building interventions to a specific target population of families. Intensive Family Preservation aims to keep children at home in a safe, stable, and nurturing family environment, improve parenting capacity and family functioning, improve children’s well-being, and prevent unnecessary placement and/or safely facilitate the reunification of children with their families. This service is designed to create rapid, sustainable change in the family unit by focusing on interventions that build on family strengths in order to eliminate safety threats and/or reduce the risk of child maltreatment. If a serious, immediate safety concern exists, an effective safety plan must be developed with family members and DHHS within 24 hours of the safety concern being identified.
*Duties*
- Develop, Foster, and maintain positive, proactive relations with other service providers
- Provide services that meet the productivity and quality service standard
- Complete and submit documentation within 24 hours of service provided
- Possess strong communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders through both verbal and written channels
- Demonstrate effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage caseload demands efficiently, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Adaptable to working with diverse populations, including clients from different cultural backgrounds, and collaborates effectively with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to provide culturally sensitive care.
- Flexible and responsive to programmatic changes, capable of adjusting strategies and approaches to meet evolving needs and goals effectively.
- Maintains an open attitude towards receiving feedback and engaging in corrective counseling, utilizing constructive criticism to enhance professional development and improve service delivery
*Qualifications*
- The Skill Builder must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in human services, such as, but not limited to, a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, and Early Childhood Development; or a related field.
OR
- consider individuals for the Skill Builder position who have an Associate’s degree plus two years of experience in human services or a related field
OR
- May also consider individuals who have a Master’s Degree Level in Counseling and/or Social Work, and have completed all of the enrolled educational institution’s required classes to be able to obtain internship hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
