Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machine to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements
- Measure and inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machine to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process
- Operate forklift to transport materials and finished products within the facility
- Utilize CNC programming to control the press brake machine for precise bending operations
- Assist with other manufacturing tasks such as welding, stamping press operation, tooling assembly, and laser cutting as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
- Strong knowledge of press brake machine operation and setup procedures
- Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Experience with CNC programming is highly desirable
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with stamping press operation, tooling assembly, laser cutting, and GD&T principles is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
