About the opportunity

Filter Time supplies air filters through three channels: direct-to-consumer subscriptions, property management, and wholesale. We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to build and run the inventory, planning, manufacturing coordination, and fulfillment processes that support all three.

Your core mission will be to move fulfillment toward a forecast-driven, stocked-inventory model—ensuring we have the right products available, clear production priorities, and delivery commitments we can meet.

This role combines operational planning with day-to-day execution. You’ll work closely with sales, customer service, and our manufacturing partner, NC Filtration, while staffing and supervising the fulfillment team.

What you’ll own

  • Inventory and forecasting: Create and maintain detailed SKU-level forecasts, establish finished-goods inventory targets, and manage Filter Time-specific raw materials, including boxes and frames.
  • Production and capacity planning: Set and communicate fulfillment priorities, make effective use of dedicated pleating capacity at Plant 1, and run part-time manufacturing operations.
  • Fulfillment leadership: Staff and supervise the Plant 2 fulfillment team, organize daily workflow, and manage RV filter fulfillment.
  • Customer delivery commitments: Keep quoted lead times aligned with inventory and capacity, and arrange outside supply when internal manufacturing cannot meet demand.
  • Property management onboarding: Coordinate with the commercial team to spread new-property demand across months and prepare inventory ahead of conversions.
  • Wholesale growth: Support customer onboarding with the inventory, manufacturing capacity, and fulfillment processes needed to scale reliably.
  • Operational improvement: Establish practical processes and performance measures for stock availability, order accuracy, on-time fulfillment, and forecast accuracy.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience managing operations, inventory, production planning, or fulfillment in a manufacturing, distribution, or e-commerce business.
  • The ability to turn sales demand into SKU-level forecasts, inventory requirements, and workable production plans.
  • Experience supervising warehouse, fulfillment, or production employees.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Clear communication and the discipline to establish priorities and follow through across teams.
  • A practical approach to balancing customer service, inventory investment, and available capacity.

Experience with subscription fulfillment, multiple sales channels, or coordinating production with a manufacturing partner would be valuable.

Who will succeed here

You’re comfortable building processes and working directly with the people who execute them. You can spot an inventory problem before it becomes a missed shipment, make clear decisions when priorities compete, and give the sales team realistic commitments.

Success means dependable stock availability, predictable fulfillment, and an operation ready to support growth.
