As the Retail Manager, you’ll be a key part of this mission, helping guests take a piece of Filoli home with them through our thoughtfully curated retail spaces.If you are a creative leader, a strategic thinker and a hands-on manager with a passion for customer experience and visual storytelling, we’d love to meet you.What You'll DoAs our Retail Manager, you will:Lead daily operations across all retail spaces, including the Clock Tower Shop, Nursery, Trailhead Store, The Staghorn and seasonal Pop-Ups.Collaborate on visual merchandising strategy, using creativity and data to create engaging displays that reflect the beauty of Filoli and drive retail success.Supervise and support a dynamic team, including the Assistant Retail Manager, Retail Buyer, Coordinators and Retail Representatives.Deliver exceptional customer service, support special events, and serve as Manager on Duty as needed.Drive results through inventory management, retail analytics and operational excellence.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who brings:3-5 years of retail leadership experience, including visual merchandising and customer-facing roles.Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment (nonprofit or cultural institution experience a plus!)Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive management style.A passion for creating meaningful and beautiful guest experiences through merchandise and storytelling.Familiarity with tools such as Google Suite, Square, YellowDog and Altru is helpful.Why Join Filoli?At Filoli, our team is committed to being inclusive, welcoming, innovative, collaborative and stewards of sustainability.
