What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator/ Extrusion Plastic Operator position at Filmtech Corporation Of Sigma Plastics Group?
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Under the Direction of: Process Tech
Extruder Operator’s job entails producing products according to formula and roll specifications of the job orders. The main responsibility of the Extruder operator is to make sure the products are run accurately, and the formulas of the orders are correct to ensure the product is exactly what the customer wants them to be.
Skills and Specifications
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. without any help
- Must be able to stand and be on their feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to work around large machinery.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Able to use a tape measure properly.
- Must be able to give instruction to winder operator.
- Must possess knowledge of how machines work.
- Must be able to troubleshoot problems with machines and/or blenders.
- Needs basic knowledge of computers.
- Experience in cast, blown or injection molding
Educations and Qualifications
- Flexible schedule.

-Potential starting rate up to $17/Hr
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
