FULL-TIME CHILD CARE LEAD TEACHER
Position is located at One Block at a Time Child Care Center in Preston, MN

This center participates in the Great Start Compensation grant program that provides additional hourly pay to all staff providing direct care to children. This has been approximately $3.00 per hour in additional pay.
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and engage with children safely and compassionately
- Implement creative activities for child development
- Create a nurturing and safe environment
- Assist with daily tasks: dressing, feeding, and overseeing play
- Adhere to MN Licensed Child Care Center regulations
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Respond to children's physical, emotional, and learning needs
- Build positive relationships with children and families
**Qualifications:**
- Must be 18 years or older
- 24 post-secondary credits in MN Licensing accepted courses (not specific to early childhood)
- Previous childcare or related field experience
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to establish rapport with staff, children, and parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
