We're looking for an experienced Floral Designer to join our small, but wonderful, team! We are a close-knit group who takes pride in creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing compassionate service to our customers.
We are especially looking for someone who has professional experience designing sympathy and funeral arrangements and understands the importance of creating meaningful pieces for families during some of life's most difficult moments.
Duties
- Design beautiful fresh floral arrangements for everyday occasions and special events.
- Create sympathy and funeral arrangements, including casket sprays, standing sprays, wreaths, baskets, and more.
- Help customers choose flowers and designs that express exactly what they want to say.
- Process, condition, and care for fresh flowers
- Prepare orders for pickup and delivery
- Answer phones when needed
- Work as part of a supportive and friendly team
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional floral design experience with strong experience with sympathy and funeral work.
- Knowledge of flowers, greenery, floral mechanics, and design techniques.
- Creativity and an eye for detail
- Dependability and a positive attitude
- Able to work independently but also enjoys being part of a team
- Compassion and professionalism when working with families during their most difficult time.
Hours
- 18-30 hours a week
