Job Title: Customer Support Specialist
Employee Type: Full Time, Hourly
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Reports to: Supply Chain Director
Job Location: Wichita, KS, USA
Experience: Previous Admin experience in Aerospace Mfg. environment, preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer purchase orders & document verification, verify price, lead time, and party responsible for freight (FOB Origin), and all details matches the offer sent to the customer.
- Follow up with the customer as needed to validate and verify information and pricing, as necessary.
- Printing, organizing, distribution and ensure accurate entry of customer Purchase Orders into ERP system.
- Monitor the progress of moving parts as required during the production process.
- Attend regular departmental meetings as required.
- Prepare and transmit internal consultation records (with Methods, Purchasing, Customer Service, Program Management, Scheduling, and assembly)
- Follow customer purchase orders in the ERP system and on the production floor to ensure NRE, Expedite, and other related purchase order fees are invoiced.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 year’s admin experience
- Aerospace or Manufacturing experience, required
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to provide professional verbal and written customer communications
- Problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills
- Proficient is Microsoft Office with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge in an ERP system (i.e. Visual, SAP, Syteline)
- High School diploma plus some college preferred
- Previous experience in document control, preferred
- Ability to work independently and a team player.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English language
- Must be US citizen
Working Conditions:

Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and/or crouch to retrieve files and other items. Writing to complete reports and service requests. Occasionally Lifting and carrying (with assistance) items weighing 20-50 lbs.
