Role Description The Personal Banker is a full-time, on-site role based in Canton, MI, responsible for delivering personalized financial solutions and high-quality customer service. Day-to-day activities include engaging with clients to understand their financial needs, opening new accounts, processing deposits and other transactions accurately, and recommending appropriate banking products and services. The role involves educating customers on digital banking tools, promoting savings and lending solutions, and proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships. Personal Bankers collaborate closely with branch team members to meet individual and branch goals while maintaining compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal banking and hands-on work with consumer banking products and services.
- Knowledge of deposits, transaction processing, and basic financial operations.
- Skill in opening new accounts, explaining product features, and completing documentation accurately.
- Foundational understanding of finance, including budgeting, saving, and lending concepts.
- Strong customer service abilities, including active listening, problem solving, and clear communication.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory and policy compliance.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate within a branch team, and meet performance goals.
