Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role located in Richmond, VA for a Press Brake Operator. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to form and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Key responsibilities include reviewing production blueprints, configuring machines, performing quality control checks, and resolving machine setup or operational challenges. The Operator will ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain the efficiency and precision of the equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience in Machine Operation and Pre-press processes with attention to detail
- Strong Quality Control skills to ensure precision and compliance with design specifications
- Ability to perform Printing tasks as needed to support production workflows
- Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues effectively
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering plans
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is advantageous
- Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols
