Fife Luneau, P.C. is a Denver criminal defense firm focused on DUI defense, DMV license revocation hearings, juvenile matters, and general criminal defense in courts across Colorado. We are hiring an associate attorney who is either newly licensed or awaiting bar results.
Who we're looking for
We are not looking for someone to push paper. We want a lawyer who went to law school to stand next to a person accused of a crime and fight for them in front of a jury. You should be ambitious, self-motivated, and eager to try cases — not eventually, but as soon as you're ready.
No prior practice experience is required. We will train you. In exchange, we expect you to work hard, learn quickly, and take ownership of your cases and your clients.
- Licensed to practice in Colorado, or bar results pending
- Genuine interest in criminal defense and jury trial work
- Trial advocacy coursework, moot court, or mock trial experience strongly preferred
- Strong writing and courtroom presence, or the drive to build both
- Comfortable with a high-volume, client-facing practice
What you'll do
- Represent clients in DUI, misdemeanor, and felony matters from arraignment through trial
- Appear in county and district courts throughout the Denver metro area and beyond
- Handle DMV express consent hearings
- Draft and argue motions, negotiate with prosecutors, and prepare cases for trial
- Second-chair, then first-chair, jury trials under the mentorship of partners with decades of combined trial experience
Compensation and benefits
- $80,000 base salary
- Uncapped bonus compensation paid per jury trial tried — the more you try, the more you earn

- Two weeks paid time off

- Paid bar dues, CLE, and malpractice coverage
