Position Summary
Fiesta Therapeutic Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric clients in their homes. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement treatment plans, document progress, and support children in achieving their communication goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services as outlined in treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
- Conduct therapy sessions in clients' homes.
- Implement therapy activities targeting speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and/or social communication skills.
- Collect data and document client progress accurately and timely.
- Communicate professionally with families and caregivers regarding home practice activities and session participation.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
- Attend supervision meetings and training as required.
Qualifications
- Current Texas SLPA license in good standing.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel to client homes within the service area.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
