Synopsis
The Project Manager for Production is responsible for overseeing the execution of lot-specific deadlines across multiple client accounts. This role involves coordinating schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
The Project Manager works in close collaboration with Lot Coordinators, Production Technicians, and Production Leadership to align priorities, manage workload, and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination
- Managing competing priorities and timelines.
- Continually monitor projects for potential risks and escalate in order to mitigate negative impacts.
- Coordinate internal and third-party disciplines to execute project tasks.
- Regularly communicates with leadership on lot statuses.
- Maintain proper file management for project documentation and communications.
- Provide final project deliverables to the Client
- Monitor company process and procedures are being adhered to
- Financial Performance
- Validate project proposal is accurate based on estimated hours and schedule.
- Manage and monitor project financial performance using Deltek Vision.
- Identify and escalate change in scope.
- Responsible for meeting the agreed upon project budget.
- Project Schedule
- Ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational skills; including multi-tasking and time management.
- Knowledge in project scheduling software.
- Proven work experience in project coordination or project management.
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively with other project leaders.
- Intermediate knowledge of design, design trends, construction methodology, material applications, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
Required Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field or significant experience in a professional environment drafting residential and/or commercial construction documentation.
- 5 years minimum of progressive experience in the construction industry preferred.
