Fieldston Power is NYC native, vertically integrated distributed energy resources developer and independent power focused on developing, financing, owning and operating CDG solar, energy storage and other distributed energy resources throughout New York City and the surrounding region.
Fieldston develops and retains ownership of long-lived infrastructure assets. We were the largest developer in 2025 of CDG assets, and are becoming the premier owner-operator of distributed energy assets serving multifamily buildings, other C I assets and the community at large. As our portfolio grows from development of hundreds of projects into long-term operating assets, we are seeking our first Portfolio & Asset Management Manager to help build the operational backbone of our operating portfolio.

Position Summary
The Director of Portfolio & Asset Management will own the ongoing performance, administration, and commercial management of Fieldston Power’s operating portfolio. The role serves as the bridge between inception to construction, and from project delivery into long-term stewardship of those assets—and a key center node to our landlords, operating partners, lenders, subscribers, AHJs and stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Portfolio Ownership
This individual will serve as the internal owner of Fieldston’s operating portfolio, meticulously maintaining complete visibility into every operating project including operational status, warranties, production monitoring, O&M oversigt, financial performance, lease obligations, insurance and other compliance requirements.
Asset Performance
The Director will leverage existing and help build additional proprietary tools to monitor operating performance across the portfolio. They will coordinate with O&M vendors to: strenghren underperformance, triage alerts, monitor uptime, benchmark to estimated production and forecast changes in production curves, escalate equipment support and repairs. As part of their monitoring and reporting, they will produce KPI dashboards tracking availability, production, uptime, response time, repair time, RMA claims and recurring issues.
O&M Management
The Director will oversee third-party O&M providers, including: reviewing maintenance reports, opening service tickets, approving repair scopes, tracking response times, managing preventative maintenance, coordinating service, reviewing invoices and monitoring contractor performance.
Owner's Representation
As the ultimate gatekeeper to the company, the role will serve as an owner’s representative for all operating assets, including warranty administration, warehouse and inventory management, and databasing project documents, ensuring every operating project remains vigilantly nurtured and investor ready. Portfolio reporting will be a key success to the role, preparing executive reporting to leadership on weekly, monthly and quartely periods. The individual will have close financial coordination with the CFO, preparing operating budgets, production and cash flow forecasts, reserve planning, expense tracking, insurance, investor reporting.
Subscription Coordination
The indivdual will be the primary liason with the firm's subscription managers, overseeing acquisition, subcription changes, customer relations, production allocations and portfolio performance.
Development Handoff
The Director will partner closely with the Development Team from inception through NTP, and again at project close-out, own the transition from inception to construction, from development into operations by ensuring: directing EPC punchlist and final milestones close-out packages, warranty transferrance, system communication and monitoring, landlord introduction and close-out, operating documentation and
O&M scheduling.
Platform Operations
As a key early hire at Fieldston Power, the professional will become a power user of refining, running and automating Fieldston’s operating platform. They will maintain accurate records in the company’s project management and asset management database, monitoring systems, document management and reporting dashboards.

Qualifications
* 5 years in renewable energy, commercial real estate, infrastructure, construction, or asset management
* Experience managing a large volume (100 ) operating assets
* Strong project management skills
* Excellent organization and impeccable communication
* Strong data analysis and excel skills
* Familiarity with monitoring platforms
* Experience coordinating multiple outside vendors
Preferred experience in:
* CDG and/or distributed BESS
* Commercial and residential asset management
* Construction close-out and warranty administration

Compensation, Location & Applying
Compensation is commensurate with experience. This job is located in New York City. Candidate must be located in the NY market, or able to relocate immediately. Candidate must be comfortable in both office and in the field, with the expectation that a portion of the job will require frequent / periodic site visits to locations throughout the five boroughs.
