Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, and food processors safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
- Assist with food handling and portioning to ensure proper weight and presentation standards are met
- Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support catering or banquet events by setting up serving stations and assisting with food distribution
Experience
- Prior experience in food industry roles such as restaurant service, catering, or banquet setup is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks including weight handling and food processing efficiently
- Knowledge of wine service or fine dining experience is a plus but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse patrons
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and POS systems is advantageous
- Experience in food safety sanitizing procedures and dietary accommodations enhances your suitability for this role
- Previous hospitality or culinary experience will help you excel in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking
