What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services & Business Development Coordinator position at Fielding.Global?
ABOUT SPECIALTY VETPATH
Specialty Vetpath (SVP) is a dynamic and dedicated veterinary pathology diagnostic laboratory located in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood. We’re a passionate group of science-minded, animal-loving professionals who believe in doing good science with a twist of art—and a solid soundtrack of rock and roll. We’re proud to support the veterinary community with high-quality, thoughtful diagnostics and a collaborative approach to patient care.
THE ROLE
This is a client oriented, front-of-house facing role. You will report to and work closely with the Client Services Manager, who brings extensive knowledge of our clients, their practices, and the culture that makes SVP relationships work. You will also work alongside our pathologists, leadership team, and external advisers on specific growth and marketing initiatives. This is a small, collaborative team. Everyone is visible, and good work is noticed. This is a role that rewards someone who listens carefully, learns quickly, and earns trust through consistent delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Client Communications: Serve as a professional, knowledgeable point of contact for veterinary clients via phone, email, and in person interactions.
Marketing Structure & Execution: Take the lead in implementing our work-in-progress marketing plan and establishing a framework of metrics and data assessment to guide ongoing development.
Educational Events: Coordinate with relevant SVP team members and clients to schedule, organize, and promote virtual and in-person events.
Client Growth & Relationship Support: Support the Client Services Manager in moving contacts from initial awareness through to long-term, referring clients.
WHO WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE
The right person for this role is growth minded without being pushy, organised without being rigid, and confident enough to take initiative while remaining open to direction. You appreciate the value of the work we do and you are motivated to actively participate in helping expand our business. Additional qualities include personable, positive, and enjoys answering phones, but able to be concise and not long-winded.

- Some hands-on marketing experience such as with events coordination and/or structured outreach
- Experience in a veterinary, medical, or scientific environment is a strong advantage
- Comfortable learning technical terminology and working alongside medical professionals
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple workstreams without losing detail
THE ENVIRONMENT
Location: Seattle, WA — Interbay (onsite, Monday to Friday, day shift)
Reports to: Client Services Manager
Team: Small, close-knit, science-led
Culture: Honest, direct, and unpretentious — this is a team that says what it means, values candor over comfort, and has no patience for corporate formality. If you need a carefully managed environment, this probably isn’t the right fit. If you thrive around people who are passionate, plain-speaking, and good at what they do, you’ll feel at home.
Benefits: Medical/dental/vision benefits commencing after 60 days
FINAL WORD
If you are someone who takes pride in doing things with integrity, who is energized by the idea of helping a business like this flourish, and who has the growth-minded instincts and organizational discipline to make it happen, we want to hear from you.
