Prior law enforcement or military experience, or certifications in first aid and CPR, are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified
- Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and maintain accurate logs of patrol activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Manage conflicts professionally to prevent escalation or violence
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unlawful activities and promote a safe environment
Skills
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring systems
- Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities
- Knowledge of security protocols
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or high-stress situations
- Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties over extended periods and respond quickly when needed
