NDT Technician
Pay: $25-$27/hr | Shift: 3pm-11pm | Location: Oceaneering, 11915 FM 529, Houston, TX (100% onsite) Required: Steel toe boots & safety glasses
Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on fabricated parts using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant, or radiographic methods. Calibrate equipment, interpret results against specs, record data, and report findings with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct NDT inspections & verify parts to acceptance criteria
- Read blueprints, interpret tolerances, and compare test results
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment
- Document results and collaborate with QC, engineering, and production
- Train junior techs and support procedure improvements
- Follow HSE and quality programs; participate in safety initiatives
Required
- 2 years NDT experience (UT, MT, PT, RT)
- ASNT Level II certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and solve routine technical issues
- Strong communication and blueprint reading skills
- Proficient in English
