Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative will perform the essential duties of this position, which include assisting the Account Managers, Account Executives & Producer(s) in servicing a book of business, including new and renewal marketing and placement. Works at the direction of Account Managers, Account Executives and producer(s).

Qualification Requirements:

Possesses a supportive and responsive manner with internal and external customers.

Possesses High School diploma or equivalent (College Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Holds a current Oregon/Idaho Property & Casualty Insurance license or will be able to obtain such license in an established time frame.

Has ability to perform multiple tasks in complex working environment accurately and efficiently.

Possesses above average computer knowledge and skills.

Has knowledge and experience necessary for independent decision-making ability.

Educational Requirements:

As required by state laws, each Customer Service Representative will be required to complete and pass Property and Casualty licensing exams. Commercial Service Representatives will also be required to complete all state continuing education requirements. Commercial Services Representatives are encouraged to obtain industry specific designations to enhance professional knowledge and recognition.
