Quality Control Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control Project Team. This role ensures compliance with company SOPs, minimizes fabrication and installation errors, and works closely with project teams to resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality inspections, reviews, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with ASME B31 piping codes and industry standards.
- Oversee project-specific quality plans and audits.
- Train and mentor inspectors to align with company expectations.
- Work with General Contractors on inspection planning and compliance.
- Approve materials and assess vendor quality.
- Report and document quality assurance activities.
- Attend project meetings and provide quality-related updates.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent with 10 years of QC experience.
- 8 years in Quality Control (ASME B31 piping codes, construction, welding, NDT).
- 3 years in leadership roles.
Certifications (Required):
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- AWS QC-1 Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI) (preferred)
- ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification (preferred)
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Expertise in ASME Section IX BP&V Code, welding procedures, and qualifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office, technical documents, and scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform site inspections.
- Travel to job sites and regional offices as needed.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
